Spring Garden Projects

It's spring! Summer will be here soon and the kids will be looking for something to do. Why not plan ahead and build a tepee for them to enjoy! But not just any tepee! How about a morning glory or bean stalk tepee? Just purchase some bamboo, or 1 x 2's at your home improvement store. Place them in the shape of a tepee and secure at the top. Let the kids help out by planting seeds around the base of the tepee. As the plants grow, help guide them up the poles of the tepee. Before long the entire tepee will be covered with vines and will provide a cool, shaded yet secluded spot for the kids! Have fun!
