
How do YOU read ads, or look at flyers? Are you thinking, "What's in it for me?" Many people do! So, in order to get a LOT of people interested and curious enough to read and respond to your offers, you must help satisfy or answer that question.
FIRST, and always, just use simple, everyday language. Commonly used words and phrases are best. Don't try to impress the reader with your knowledge, or your command of the language.
SECOND, it's not always necessary to tell the reader ALL THERE IS TO KNOW about what you're selling. Just tell them how your product or service will benefit them! Maybe you should let the customer know that they'll be HAPPIER; WISER; WEALTHIER after they buy one from you. Don't deceive them, or they'll return it and want their money back, once they find out it DOESN'T do what you said it would!
Sell the FEELING; Sell the RESULTS; sell the BENEFITS of owning & using it, not the actual product itself! To sell the product, the customer needs to believe they'll be SMARTER; or MORE ACCEPTED; MORE SECURE; MORE POPULAR; MORE EFFICIENT; MORE ATTRACTIVE AND LOVED by owning one!
THIRD, BE HONEST! Fill orders quickly; give refunds more quickly then expected; and whenever possible, give "just a little bit more" than the customer ordered! The customer will feel satisfied and they'll be back for more!
Before someone will order from you they must TAKE ACTION. You won't get ANY orders, no matter HOW GOOD your product is, if you don't TELL the customer to ORDER NOW! Before they order, they must WANT it or desire it. If they don't want it, you still won't get any orders! If you don't STOP THEM and make them READ about your offer, well, then it's for SURE you won't get any orders!
FIRST, to stop them in their tracks and get their attention, and make them WANT to read your ad, you use attractive and exciting words like: MONEY!; FREE!; & NEW!
NEXT, create a desire within them to WANT what you're selling, and you do that with words like:
BONUS; BARGAIN; SAVE; SECRET; & HOW-TO!
THIRD, you need to tell them to TAKE ACTION, TODAY, with words like:
NOW; EASY; & GUARANTEED!
Naturally, these are just a few of the HOT WORDS in our language. Others are:

Use these words and your orders will be MORE and your returns will be LESS!
